Each note has its own reading page setting out its contents, key concepts and the topics it covers, with links to the related practice areas.
Before your consultation
- Carry every document connected with the matter, including papers you consider unfavourable.
- Arrange papers by date rather than by importance; chronology is what a court examines first.
- Note the dates of key events — notice, payment, registration, complaint, hearing.
- Bring any court notice or summons in original, with the envelope where available.
- Write down the questions you want answered so nothing is left out of the discussion.
