General process
A complaint is filed before the consumer commission having jurisdiction, with supporting documents and, where required, an affidavit. Notice is issued to the opposite party, a version is filed, evidence is placed on affidavit and the matter is decided after hearing. Reliefs may include replacement, refund, compensation and costs, as the commission considers appropriate.
